Alpine Smoked Products LLC is a family run business started by Monte Stoehr in 2012.  Our USDA Certified facility is located in Graham, Washington under the shadow of Mt. Rainier.  Using unique processes we smoke salmon and various cheeses that are some of the finest on the market.

After searching, experimenting and trying different smoking methods and recipes for the salmon and cheeses, we decided to perform some market research with some of our most discriminating friends and family using the products we had developed.  The reviews were awesome which encouraged us to make the investment in the building and equipment.

After product testing and passing our USDA inspection we received our Plant Food and Processing License in March of 2013.  Our Smoked Salmon products have consistently met USDA standards.

Our primary goal in running the business is providing monetary support for various adoption agencies and various orphanages.  We have a heart for those children who have no family or home.  And we want to assist those parents financially who want to adopt, as the cost for adopting is quite high.  (See Our Adoption Story.)  We consistently donate between 20% and 40% of our profits toward this goal.

Our secondary goal is providing some of the best smoked products in the country.  Once you try our products we are confident that you too will be convinced of how exceptional and delicious the Smoked Salmon and Smoked Cheeses taste.  You will agree that they are truly “A taste above the rest.”

About the Stoehrs:

Monte is a veterinarian specializing in small animals, and enjoys soft tissue and some orthopedic surgeries. He is an avid outdoors man and has hiked extensively throughout the Pacific Northwest, including summiting Mt. Rainier. He also enjoys photography, gardening and long-distance running. 

His sons have helped process our products and help maintain our Wed store.
